Presumably it remains flagged as stolen, so probably not a good idea to ride it into Talmberg again. Kingdom come deliverance horse. Pretty cool little detail that I thought! The horse can be found just past the quarry on the road from Talmberg to Skalitz (the same road you used to get to Talmberg in prologue quest 'Run').You can't miss the beast - it's standing in the middle of the road!No idea how the ownership thing works with this horse.

You can kill a razorback boar using a Molotov cocktail once you reach the Ruins Encampment base camp in Geothermal Valley. There is a crate of bottles of alcohol near the campfire that you can use to craft the Molotov cocktail. Then, jump down to the area next to the river and ruined log cabin to find a pack of razorback boars to use it on to get the trophy.
Easy 'Bar Brawl' trophyThe 'Deadly Force' skill is required. Stealth kill an enemy with a bottle in your hand to get the 'Bar Brawl' trophy.
Easy 'Chemical Warfare' trophyIn Expedition mode, select 'The Acropolis' chapter on the lowest difficulty in 'Chapter Replay'. You can also select 'Chapter Replay Elite' to use your upgraded gear to make it easier. When the chapter begins, proceed down to the town to encounter some enemies after a short cutscene. Get the enemies attention by shooting at them, then fallback and take cover. Once the enemies are standing close together, shoot them with a poison arrow. If you fail to get the trophy, simply reload the chapter and try again.
Easy 'For My Next Trick..' trophyAfter making some progress through the story, fast travel to the Valley Farmstead Base Camp in Geothermal Valley. Nearby is a small village with a few houses and a large well in the middle. Near the well is a shack with some boxes to the left of the entrance, which you can jump onto with a sprinting start. Once on the boxes, climb onto the roof of the shack. You can also use the extended grapple to get on the roof if you are struggling using this method. Once on top, line yourself up with the well while giving yourself as much running space as possible and making sure to leap from the ledge closest to the well. Sprint, then jump as late as possible and quickly press L2 to swan dive. If done correctly, Lara will swan dive into the well and you will get the 'For My Next Trick..' trophy.
Easy 'Huntress' trophyThe Huntress outfit can be obtained from an NPC in the Geothermal Valley region. Keep doing side missions until it becomes available.
Easy 'No Guts, No Glory' trophyFast travel to Ridgeline Base Camp in Geothermal Valley, which can be accessed after progressing through most of the story to reach this area. The base camp is located at the top of a waterfall, and just off to the side you can see a wooden platform with a red mark on it that pokes out of the side of the cliff edge. Get a running start towards the platform, jump once you reach the end, and quickly perform a swan dive by pressing L2. If done with the correct timing, Lara will enter the swan dive downwards and you will get the 'No Guts, No Glory' trophy upon hitting the water. If you fail, climb out of the water, ascend the hill, and try again.
Easy 'Paying Respects' trophyAfter making significant progress through the story and completing the 'Flooded Archives' chapter, your objective will be to proceed up the mountains to the observatory, which is at the top of hill near the waterfall in Geothermal Valley. Just a bit down hill from the base camp at the top of the hill, off to the right hand side (if ascending), you can find a small group of people sitting next to a tombstone. Walk up to them to get the 'Paying Respects' trophy. If ascending, it will be immediately to the right after crossing a small wooden bridge and climbing up a small rockface. Note: You can replay 'Flooded Archives' in Expedition mode if you missed the opportunity the first time.
Easy 'Quick And Painless' trophyGet the 'Anatomical Knowledge' skill from the 'Catacomb Of Sacred Knowledge' tomb. It is also helpful to have the 'True Shot' skill.
Easy 'Quiet Time' trophyFast travel to the Ruins Encampment Base Camp in Geothermal Valley. From this base, run up the hill to see the dome shaped building near the top of the hill. You can access this area by going up the hill, entering the building next to it, and using the tree branch to swing across. Once you swing across into the tall domed building, hang off the ledge and shimmy to the right to find a wooden chair on a small piece of the roof. Pull yourself up, approach the chair, and press X to sit down to get the 'Quiet Time' trophy.
Easy 'Rotisserie' trophyYou can shoot a chicken out of the air with a fire arrow once you have reached the Valley Farmstead base camp in Geothermal Valley. There are some chickens nearby you can chase and catch. Then, carry the chicken to a good area where you can throw it up in the air and shoot it with a fire arrow.
Easy 'Spinning Leaf' trophy ('Cold Darkness Awakened' DLC)Use the Big Head Mode and Big Head Enemies cards. If you only have the Big Head Mode card, which makes Lara's head big, it will add some amount of score bonus in Endurance mode because you will be easier to hit. However, the Infected here are melee-only, with an occasional suicide grenadier, so it will not be too difficult. Also, consider using the card that adds a 100% score bonus. It makes Infected only killable by headshots and finishers and will make sure that you get the correct kind of kill. You have approximately 12 seconds between each kill. Infected will spawn everywhere, especially if you make noise.
Easy 'Trick Shot' trophyYou can shoot a bottle out of the air once you have reached the Ruins Encampment base camp in Geothermal Valley. There is a crate of bottles near the campfire that you can use to toss in the air and shoot.
Easy 'Triple Threat' trophyIn Expedition mode, select 'The Acropolis' chapter on the lowest difficulty in 'Chapter Replay'. You can also select 'Chapter Replay Elite' to use your upgraded gear and shotgun to make it easier. When the chapter begins, proceed down to the town to encounter some enemies after a short cutscene. Get the enemies attention by shooting at them, then fallback and take cover. Once the enemies are standing close together, use the smoke bomb to confuse the enemies, then run up to them and keep shooting them with the shotgun to weaken them and eventually kill three enemies with one shotgun blast. If you fail to get the trophy, simply reload the chapter and try again.
Easy 'Weaponsmith' trophyUpgrade the climbing axe, as it qualifies as a weapon, to get the 'Weaponsmith' trophy.

You know what it's like. You find yourself deep in the frozen bowels of Siberia, and wish someone had told you to pack a thermos of Earl Grey before you left the house. That's a bit like Rise of the Tomb Raider. But instead of tea, it's weapon upgrades, controls, and knowledge of enemy behavior. Yes, that did escalate quickly.
Well, I can help with that. Having finished the game, there are loads of things I wish I'd been able to tell myself to save some time and hardship. So allow me to impart my wisdom. If you want, you can pretend it's like you've found one of the story documents. Yep, by all means read each entry in as dramatic a voice as you can muster, for maximum authenticity.
Raid the tombs (I'm not even joking)
The challenge tombs are optional, but that doesn't mean you should save them for something to do after you've completed the main story. They are certainly harder to find than in the last game, but when you get the notification that one is nearby, get in there. Whatever peril the rest of the world is in, it will wait until you've finished.
Each tomb gives you a useful skill that'll make playing the rest of the game either easier or quicker, so it makes sense to have Lara's abilities progressed as far as possible as soon as possible, otherwise you'll simply have everything at your disposal after the adventure's long finished.
You can switch shoulders with the left stick
A simple click of the left stick will shift the camera to your other shoulder. It's amazing how much more visibility this can give you when you're behind cover.
It's also worth noting that the position of Lara's muzzle or arrow tip on the screen as she's preparing to fire doesn't matter at all. Whatever enemy or scenery is aligned with the crosshairs will register the hit. Yes, even if that wouldn't be physically possible.
Hunt whenever you can
It can begin to feel like hunting isn't really necessary, especially if you don't care much for different outfits, but seriously, it helps to have as many hides in your inventory as possible, because they help you upgrade your equipment. So basically, even though it's sad (or fun depending on your mentality), keep shooting the bunnies.
The Arrow Retrieval skill will let you reclaim arrows from successful kills but it won't get back the ones that miss. So be accurate, or you'll quickly run out of ammo.
Don't forget about the Supply Shack
Early on, you find this shack in the Soviet Installation hub area, in which several pieces of equipment are on sale. To buy them, you'll need to collect Byzantine coins, so you'll only be able to afford one item (if anything) when you first happen upon it.
However, it's very easy to forget about the shack as you progress through the game. Sure, sometimes it reminds you that new equipment is available to buy, but you're hardly going to stop what you're doing and head there, right? Well.. actually, you probably should. You can fast travel at any time from a campfire, so go back regularly and improve your arsenal. How should you do that? Well let me tell you..
Buy the red dot sight for your rifle
Conversely, I don't believe the suppressor for the pistol is a great purchase. Sure, it's quieter, but guards will notice their friends dropping dead beside them, so it's better to use stealth takedowns, luring guards away from the group and killing them in the bushes.
Unlock the following skills asap
The simplified skill tree system has some very useful perks early on. You should get the Thick-Skinned skill to take less damage from enemies, Fast Healer to bandage yourself more effectively, Breath Control to increase your fully-drawn, steady aim time on bows, and Lightfoot for landing safely from relatively high places. Finally, the Avid Learner skill is useful for an early boost to your XP gathering.
Other skills aren't particularly useful early on, such as the Efficient Killer, which automatically loots enemies when you stealth kill them. It really doesn't take long to press X over a dead body and pick it up manually - that skill point could be much better used elsewhere.
Unlock Deadly Force asap too
This perk is found in the second tier of the Brawler skillset. When you start the game, you can kill people with your bow from behind, but you need to keep tapping X to finish them. With Deadly Force unlocked, however, you can kill quickly and efficiently. And also smash people over the head with empty bottles. Lara really has clearly been watching Nathan Drake..
Although I don't remember Nathan Drake hitting someone with a bottle and then glassing them in the throat. Lovely girl, that Lara.
Distractions only work on the closest guard to them
If two guards are talking to each other and you have an empty jar or bottle to throw to distract them, only the closest will check it out. So if you throw it past the one farthest from you, you can stealth kill his buddy before he's even reached the broken bottle, by which point you'll have killed him too. Nobody tells you this in the game, but it helps so much as it can be exploited.
Need something a bit stronger?
No, I'm not still on the tea analogy. I mean we have actual guide content that will tell you where things are in Rise of the Tomb Raider. Don't be ashamed, it isn't fun being stuck looking for one thing.
You could try our Relic and document locations guide or our Challenge Tomb walkthrough guide. Alternatively, why not just have a read of our Rise of the Tomb Raider review? Happy raiding.
